Trigrams

This is a representation of the eight I-Ching trigrams, made with acupuncture needles.

I am not one to ever use the words Best Friend – mainly because every single human who ever used those on me eventually tried to fuck me over.

But if I did use them, I’d say the Book of Changes has been one of my best friends over the past two decades. So – this is a homage to a good, wise and reliable friend.

As Richard Wilhelm, its greatest western expert and translator wrote: “Of far greater significance than the use of the Book of Changes as an oracle is its other use, namely, as book of Wisdom”.
